Service Intelligence

ServiceIntelligence Point of Sale helps your customers make informed purchasing decisions based on the vehicle's previous service history and factory recommended service intervals.  Your client receives a comprehensive report with specific details that allows them to know what is needed, and have your shop perform the work as needed.

Service Intelligence eCRM is an automated email and Customer Retention Marketing system.  If focuses on recommendations, customer loyalty, and courteous follow up.  It uses email as a primary service, with optional post card follow ups.

ServiceIntelligence NCA is a new customer acquisition and recovery program to help you build your business.

How it works

ASW maintains a special set of data files for Service Intellignece ( eAuto ).  Whenever a workorder is closed, the information is posted to the SI files automatically.  In addition, any changes to recommendations is updated.  Also, appointments are also tracked, and the system will automatically add appointments made on the SI system to the Scheduler in ASW.  This is all handled transparently while using ASW normally throughout the day.

In the Workorder Development screen, when selecting the Services tab, the user will see the SI button.  Clicking on it will bring up the SI system, and report, specific to the vehicle on which you are working.  From this point you can print the report.  When you first start a workorder for a client, it is suggested that you bring up the report and share it with your client.  This will help them identify services that are needed at the present time, or in the near future.  The report is derived by comparing what has been performed on the vehicle to an extensive database of factory recommended services.

Setup

Setup for Service Intelligence is two fold.  The first part is in Auto Shop Writer and is performed with this screen.  First, you will fill in the blanks ( some will be autofilled for you ).  Check the Use Service Intelligence button.  Once you accept, your system is active on the ASW side.

You can also click on the History button, and you will be asked for the date you want to begin including vehicle services.  It would be good to go back at least 5 years, although if our clients tend to keep cars a long time, you may wish to go back further.

Once you activate SI, Auto Shop Writer will keep the SI base files updated every time you close a workorder, or schedule an appointment.

The second part of the setup will be the installation of the SI software on your computer.  This is a comprehensive program that will interact with the special ASW-SI files you have created.  In fact, if you already have SI activated within ASW, and a history built, the SI software will be able to fully service your system.
